Hichem Snoussi

I received my diploma in Electrical Engineering from the École Supérieure d’Électricité (Supélec), Gif-sur-Yvette, France, in 2000, and the DEA degree and PhD in signal processing from the University of Paris-Sud, Orsay, France, in 2000 and 2003 respectively. Between 2003 and 2004, I was a postdoctoral researcher at IRCCyN (Institut de Recherche en Communications et Cybernétique de Nantes).

I have always been passionate about science and technology. I have spent short periods as a visiting scientist at the RIKEN Brain Science Institute in Japan and at the Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center at the Institute of Living in the USA. My passion for my field led me to co-found two start-ups: Damavan Imaging in 2014 (nuclear imaging) and Aquilae in 2017 (artificial intelligence for vision analytics).

I am currently deputy director of the LIST3N laboratory and leader of the M2S team, having previously headed the LM2S laboratory from 2016 to 2020.
