Wafa Khlif

Prof. Wafa Khlif has been a Full Professor of Accounting and Management Control at Toulouse Business School (TBS Education) since 2010, based at the Barcelona campus. She holds a PhD in Management from Bordeaux IV University and an MSc in Finance from IAE Bordeaux (France), and is President of the Tunisian Accounting Association. Her research focuses on governance, board of directors’ effectiveness and the accounting professions in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, particularly in the tourism industry.

Prof. Khlif has a strong background in education, program planning, faculty coaching, PhD supervision and consulting. Since 2021 she has headed the Accounting, Auditing and Control research group at TBS Education. She has supervised and evaluated master’s and PhD dissertations and research projects, developed innovative teaching methods using technological and multimedia tools, including remote teaching and Web 2.0, organized scientific and teaching conferences and meetings, and worked as a knowledge content developer and coordinator.

Before joining Toulouse Business School, she was an associate professor at the University of Manouba from 2003 to 2010 and an assistant professor at ISCAE from 1997 to 2001. She also worked as a consultant for TPAD from 2009 to 2010.
